I had quite a bit of Rally experience before going to Shannon, but needed eyes on me. Not just ‘ya good job’ eyes, but critical, honest, helpful eyes. I got that in spades. Monster, Pickle, and I have taken Rally, obedience, heel work, agility foundations, and a tricks class. We thoroughly enjoy attending classes with Victoria k9 Sports Academy . We have completed two sets of Rally classes with Barley and thoroughly enjoyed it. Shannon is a wonderful leader/instructor, explaining everything in detail and working with each dog individually if there are challenges. As an eleven month old puppy Barley needs stimulation and her classes were just what he and we needed. And it was fun to boot! We will be taking more classes with Shannon.
I loved K9 Sports Academy Rally Classes! Starting with learning the foundations, like heeling, fronts, turns, etc. before moving on to the classes where the signs are taught just makes so much sense. I found it set us up for success; it is progressive, and both handlers and dogs have a chance to really learn and understand the signs. The instructor (Shannon) makes it clear, she has a ton of patience, and always reminds us to have fun with our dogs! The homework videos are extremely beneficial too, they really help with practicing. I am excited to continue on with more classes, my dog and I are having a blast!
Shannon at Victoria K9 Sports Academy is great & has opened my eyes to the world of K9 Sports! The Rally Obedience classes are a fun way to build the bond between you and your dog & have even helped us with reactivity and handler focus outside of class. This company truly fosters a welcoming community environment & we hope to try more dog sports in the future!
I wanted to give kudos to both SHANNON for her ‘Rally’ classes and PAM for her ‘Nosework’ classes. I take both classes with my Keeshond Blaze and he is a happy boy when he knows where we are!
I felt Rally would be a fun sport to do with my enthusiastic dog, and I really enjoyed the way that Shannon broke things down and was so clear with her explanations, which was very helpful. I also really enjoyed and appreciated how she taught each individual team and knew what they all required to succeed. I truly was thankful for her positive attitude and humour when things didn’t always go according to plan. LOL
I love Nosework and find it very exciting to see how this sport builds communication between me and my dog. Pam always seems to know what we need in the moment to better support our dog, what we should do next to build on, and when we should strive to be better. I thrive on always continuing to be a better handler, and appreciate the depth of knowledge that Pam provides us so that we can continue to learn.

I had my puppy in intro to nosework with Pam Koiner. It was an awesome class. It was also a very safe environment. Each puppy was encouraged at their own pace. I look forward to future classes.
